About
Emily Rath Orzabal
Emily has been photographing for over twenty years. She has been exhibited in various cities in Italy, and her photographs have been featured in the New York Times.
She attended the Liberal Arts program at Pepperdine University, graduating with a BA in Fine Arts in 2008. At the age of twenty two she moved to Italy, where she furthered her studies in the Italian language, painting, processing and printing in the darkroom, and archival processes, such as platinum palladium photography. Self-portraiture was an ongoing project which became a therapeutic way for her to release feelings and turn them into something tangible.
Emily graduated from culinary school at the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine, and the next year became a Certified Sommelier.
